What causes organizations to get suspended?

For an organization to be suspended the following conditions need to be met:

The Organization needs to have over 5 users.
The latest invoice has remained unpaid for 7 or more days, or the Organization subscription has been canceled.

To un-suspend the organization you need to update the payment details or reduce the number of active users to 5 or fewer.

Note: If you are on our Enterprise plan, have multiple workspaces under on Organization and downgrade your Organization to Premium, Starter or Free, we will suspend all but the oldest Workspace in the Organization.

iCalendar integration

With our iCalendar integration, you can subscribe to your time entries and see them in an external calendar, such as Google Calendar and Apple Calendar.

The iCalendar integration is a feature available with Toggl Track paid plans, it can't be used with the Free plan.

How to subscribe to your tasks using Google Calendar?

In the Toggl Track web app

Click on the Integrations tab on the left side of the page in the Toggl Track web application.
Click on the "Copy URL" button.

In Google Calendar

Under “Other calendars” (on the left side of the screen), click on the small + icon and choose “Add by URL”.
Paste the copied iCalendar link and click “Add calendar”.
Your time entries will now be displayed in your calendar.

How to subscribe to your tasks using Apple Calendar?

Click on the Integrations tab on the left side of the page in the Toggl Track web application.

API & Webhook limits

To keep Toggl Track fast, reliable, and scalable for everyone, we’re introducing usage limits for our APIs and webhooks starting September 5th, 2025. These changes help ensure fair access to our API infrastructure, protect system stability, and support ongoing improvements.

What’s changing

Webhooks (per workspace):

Free: 1 webhook (up to 3 events per webhook)
Starter: 2 webhooks (up to 6 events per webhook)
Premium: 3 webhooks (up to 12 events per webhook)

API Limits

Our API limits are applied based on the type of request. There are two distinct limits:

1. Workspace/Organization API Limits

These limits apply to requests that point to a specific workspace or organization (e.g., fetching reports, time entries, or projects for a workspace). The API quota is determined by the Organization's subscription plan.

Free: 30 requests per hour, per user, per organization
Starter: 240 requests per hour, per user, per organization
Premium: 600 requests per hour, per user, per organization

Higher, custom limits are available on Enterprise plans.

2. User-Specific API Limits

This limit applies to requests that are about your personal user data and are not targeting a specific workspace. For example, using the https://api.track.toggl.com/api/v9/me endpoint.

How to close my account?

Accepted Answer

Once an account is closed the email address is released and can be used for creating a new Toggl account. Of course, the previous data won't be in any way associated with the new account.

If you want to completely erase all you Toggl data an additional request is necessary. Visit the data erasure article for more information.

Steps to close the account

Upon closing your Toggl account all data associated with your Toggl tools (Toggl Track, Toggl Work, Toggl Focus) will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be reversed.

Open the Profile page.
Select "Account Settings".
Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
Select “Close account”.

You're an owner in a team workspace.
Solution: Switch ownership to a different admin. Here is how you can do this.
You're an admin in a team workspace and there are no other admins.
Solution: Give someone else admin privileges. This can be done from the Members page.

If you're having issues logging in with Google or Apple, the best approach would be to disable and re-enable Google/Apple login. To do this, you need to get into your account first. Here's how you can do that:

Why is my time offset by a few hours?

The Timer page in Toggl Track is designed to use the device time (system time) for all time-related calculations. In other words, whatever time (and time zone) is set on your computer, that is the time the Timer page will utilize.

Reports, on the other hand, are designed to display time according to the Profile page time zone setting. Without the time zone correctly set on the Profile page, you can expect your Reports to be offset for a couple of hours. The default timezone is UTC.

If you're experiencing the time zone offset please follow these steps:

Navigate to the Profile page.
Check your timezone listed in your Personal Details and Preferences section
If you need to, click on Account Settings and update it on the next screen.
